Congratulations to James Fagan for participating in the Burr Oak Cemetery Essay Competition. The Burr Oak Cemetery represents Dignity, Honor and Respect.

Through James hard work and efforts in researching the rich history, he helped restore honor, dignity and respect to families and loved ones of Burr Oak Cemetery through his essay. He finished third out of 400 entries. He was awarded a check for $300.00, trophy and a picture frame. Honorable Judge Pat Holmes, James Fagan and Rasheda Ali-Walsh are pictured. The award ceremony was held at Beggar’s Pizza in Harvey, Illinois.
