The Leo Catholic High School’s Spanish class took a trip to the Art Institute in downtown Chicago and DePaul University on Tuesday Oct. 19.

The students were enticed by the presentations and became aware of the ancient Central America and one of the best private colleges in the Nation.

Students were once again accompanied by Ms. Margarita Silva.

The first stop on the tour was the Art Institute. Students observed an ancient Central America exhibit featuring pieces of art from all over Latin America. Pieces ranged from sculptures to wall picture fragments.

The second stop on the tour was DePaul University. Upon arrival, students were greeted and informed of what specific activities to carry out.

Next students witnessed a life changing experience. The Leo students learned about everything that the school has to offer including a good education and an ample amount of scholarship opportunities.

After the presentation, students were given a tour of the various landmarks of the campus.

“This school has been put down as a consideration for me because of the unique qualities of the school. They have wonderful workout facilities, large dorms and small classrooms equipped for greater attention,” said Josiah Jones.
